Skiing area Plose -
Marvellous ski holidays in the Dolomites
Our mountain lodge is located in the heart of a winter sports paradise – the ski resort Plose. Mount Plose can easily fulfil all winter holiday wishes. On 42 kilometres of slopes beginners as well as expert skiers will find perfect conditions. Among the slopes there is also the longest downhill slope in South Tyrol – with its 1380 meters altitude difference and a length of 9 km, the slope “Trametsch” is one of the highlights on Mount Plose. 9 ski lifts take the skiers to the slopes. Ski school, beginners’ slopes, fun park, snowshoe trails, winter hiking paths and the 10.5 km toboggan run “Rudi Run” will turn your skiing holiday on Mount Plose into an unforgettable experience.
How to get here
Since during the winter we are located right in the heart of a ski area, you can reach us most easily on skis or on the snowboard. You may also reach us on foot, following the winter trail from Val Croce (the mountain station of the cable car). The trail begins at the inn “Geisler” and is signposted all the way to the lodge Plosehütte. The walk takes about 1 ½ hours. The path is also ideal for snowshoeing. Parking is available at the valley and mountain stations of the Plose cable car.
Overnight stays in the winter
Due to its perfect location directly on the ski slopes and at the starting point of the slope “Trametsch” – the longest downhill slope in South Tyrol – the lodge Plosehütte is ideal for guests who wish to fully enjoy the ski resort. In the morning you can be the first on the freshly groomed slopes and in the evening you can relax at the lodge in a cosy atmosphere.
